Space Jam has always meant one shoe — the black Air Jordan 11 Michael Jordan wore against the Monstars. For the film’s 30th anniversary, Jordan Brand is doing the opposite of a single-shoe tribute: a full collection that opens with six pairs on Thursday and stretches to December.
Thursday’s wave is character-driven. Lola Bunny gets two pairs — a kids’ Air Jordan 3 in Light Soft Pink with her portrait in the Jumpman pose on the tongue, and a women’s Air Jordan 1 Low — while Bugs carries the AJ1 Mid ‘Air Bugs’. Moron Mountain, the Monstars’ amusement park, themes the women’s AJ OG, and the Son of Mars Low and Trunner O/S round out the day.
