Dr. Martens heads into Halloween with a capsule inspired by William Friedkin’s 1973 cult horror classic, The Exorcist, translating some of the film’s most unsettling imagery and dialogue across three of its signature silhouettes.
The 1460 boot arrives in Black/Purple, using smooth leather as a backdrop for a large-scale image of possessed Regan MacNeil, with “FAITHLESS SLIME” debossed at the heel and on alternate laces, matte black eyelets, a black-and-purple AirWair heel loop and yellow welt stitching.
The 1461 shoe takes a darker, more understated approach in Black Vintage Smooth leather, with “I’M NOT REGAN” laser-etched with a biscuit-brown undertone, black welt stitching and a metallic “THE EXORCIST” lace charm.
The Jadon boot delivers the collection’s most dramatic finish, coating its platform silhouette in glossy purple Arcadia leather with a two-tone rub-off, “I’M NOT REGAN” embossed, a custom zipper and lace jewelry. All three pairs also feature specially printed insoles and additional co-branded details, and the wider capsule includes a black leather backpack with Father Merrin’s silhouette and jacquard socks.
